With Activision and ESL hosting the Call of Duty World League across three continents and providing over $3 million in prize money, the world’s largest eSports organizations have decided now is the perfect time to become involved in the game. Organizations making their debut this year include Luminosity, Counter Logic Gaming, Cloud 9, H2k, LDLC, and now Team Liquid.

In a video released by Gamespot, Team Liquid co-owner Steve Arhancet revealed that the team signed contracts with a Call of Duty roster. They have now officially announced the names on that roster.

The Team Liquid roster features MerK, Burnsoff, Apathy, and StuDyy.

When Cloud 9 originally announced their team just ahead of the Call of Duty World League online qualification tournament, Burnsoff and MerK were part of it. Apathy and StuDyy were playing together under Enigma 6 Gold. Unfortunately for them, neither team qualified.

Team Liquid is not part of the Pro Division in the Call of Duty World League (CWL) and therefore must make their mark in the Challenge Division events, the first of which will be UMG South Carolina, where a $100,000 prize pool is up for grabs.

One roster participating in the CWL remains without an organization and many expect them to be picked up by Team SoloMid.
