Finn “karrigan” Andersen has been on FaZe Clan for some time, but he could be on his way to a new team if his buyout price is met by another organization.

The Danish in-game leader’s has reportedly been priced at a whopping $150,000, according to Dexerto. At the same time, Team Envy seems to be the front-runner to seal a deal with the decorated leader after he played with the North American squad at the recent IEM Katowice Americas Minor championship.

Originally, karrigan’s time on Envy ended as soon as they couldn’t qualify for IEM Sydney, but now it seems as though Envy wants him to extend his time with the quartet of Josh “jdm” Marzano, Noah “Nifty” Francis, Steven “reltuC” Cutler, and Taylor “Drone” Johnson.

Karrigan was with Envy for less than two months. After being benched and replaced on FaZe with Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev in December, karrigan led Envy to a third-place finish at the Americas Minor and a last-place showing in the Third Place Play-In. The North Americans narrowly failed to qualify for the main IEM Katowice Major event, losing to Winstrike and North in two straight matches.

Other teams that could field karrigan include OpTic Gaming and Mousesports. Mouz recently removed in-game leader Chris “chrisJ” de Jong along with Martin “STYKO” Styk, so they’re in desperate need of a dedicated shot-caller like karrigan. OpTic, on the other hand, have had underwhelming results over the past several months with Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer at the IGL helm. Both OpTic and Mouz were eliminated in the European Minor last month, getting knocked out in the rigorous group stage by Team Vitality and Valiance.

The $150,000 buyout, however, isn’t as pricy as other big names in the scene. Karrigan’s former teammate, Nikola “NiKo” Kovac, had a buyout from Mouz of about $500,000. French stars Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire apparently also each had buyouts of $800,000 from G2 Esports. So in comparison, karrigan’s contract seems reasonably priced.
