Panorama User Interface (UI) is now available to Windows users in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Valve added an update earlier today that allows Windows users to opt into the long-awaited Panorama UI feature in-game. Panorama UI is a brand-new interface that reskins menus and heads-up displays and improves overall gameplay. Now, players can play with Panorama UI online with friends just by adding “-panorama” into their launch options.

Below are the additional fixes that Valve implemented into Panorama UI with this update.
HUD
- The HUD Money panel now has a background like the health and ammo and is also controllable with cl_hud_background_alpha.
- Fixed the HUD chat lines not lining up with each other in certain resolutions/scales.
- Updated the look of crosshair style zero and one to more closely match the scaleform version.
- Panorama crosshair style zero and one now no longer scale when changing resolution.
- Added buttons to the scoreboard to allow users to toggle caster features.
- Custom team logos now work again using png extension and can be placed in the new team image location or the old (flash) location.
- Fixed ADR not filtering out team damage.
- Fixed Overwatch suspect not being highlighted in scoreboard.
Watch Menu/Miscellaneous
- Added download state indicators to match lister tiles.
- Enabled watching a demo from a specific round.
- Increased brightness and adjusted the vignetting on the map loading screen image.
Coincidentally, Valve released today’s update following Brazil’s loss to Belgium in the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup of football. Neymar is an avid CS:GO player who consistently posts CS:GO-related content on social media, and a few days ago, Valve told a fan on Twitter that, “We need [Brazilian football star] Neymar to get back in the office. He took some personal time off—apparently he has ‘prior obligations for the next few weeks.'” Valve even tweeted a nervous Kermit The Frog GIF during the quarterfinal match, which Brazil lost 2-1.
To opt into Panorama UI, go to CS:GO in your Steam library, click on the “Set Launch Options…” button under the General tab, and type “-panorama” into the pop-up box. This should enable Panorama UI for you in-game as long as you are running CS:GO on a computer with the Windows operation system. For players who play on macOS or Linux, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for Valve to make Panorama UI available in the launch options.
