Team Dignitas may be without a CS:GO team very soon, as news of the roster disbanding seems imminent.
After it was reported that Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad and Asger “AcilioN” Larsen were released from the team, the remaining three active players and the team’s coach are set to become free agents, according to an HLTV report.
This means that Ricardo “fox” Pacheco, Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran, Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel, Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen, and coach Morten “zEVES” Vollan will be without a team if the changes occur.

The report follows a very underwhelming year from the Dignitas lineup, since their most significant placing was third at the PGL European Minor in June. They failed to qualify for both the PGL Major: Krakow in July and the recent ELEAGUE European Minor last month.
If Dignitas releases fox, loWEL, RUBINO, cromen, and zEVES, it would be the second time in less than a year that the organization has parted ways with its CS:GO roster. In December 2016, Dignitas mutually decided to part ways with the current North squad—Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen, Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Rene “cajunb” Borg—from Denmark to pursue a team completely comprised of North American players. RUBINO eventually found his way back to Dignitas, after he was replaced with FaZe’s Philip “aizy” Aistrup.
Team Dignitas ended up signing a team of lower caliber players relative to North, who’ve placed top eight in 10 of their 11 events under the North banner.
