Team Envy is making changes to its North American CS:GO lineup ahead of the DreamHack Masters Dallas qualifiers.
The organization announced that Sam “s0m” Oh, Jacob “FugLy” Medina, and Brad “ANDROID” Fodor is joining the active lineup alongside Josh “jdm” Marzano and Noah “Nifty” Francis. They’ll be replacing Taylor “Drone” Johnson and Stephen “reltuC” Cutler on the roster as they’re being released from their contracts.

S0m and ANDROID are coming into the lineup straight from compLexity Gaming, where ANDROID was the team lurker and s0m worked as a full-time streamer. The 16-year-old is known for streaming his flashy play in FACEIT Pro League and ESEA Rank S pick-up games. ANDROID was with coL for over two years before he was benched with Jacob “yay” Whiteaker in favor of Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert and Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland. S0m, on the other hand, completed under Swole Patrol before moving on to Envy.
FugLy is also leaving NRG Esports’ bench to join the newly-revamped Envy roster. He helped NRG become a strong contender in NA and in the world scene in 2018, but it wasn’t enough to keep him along when Tarik Celik emerged in free agency after his stint with MIBR. His tenure with NRG lasted for almost four full years.
Envy has resorted to these changes after they temporarily played with renowned Danish in-game leader Finn “karrigan” Andersen. Karrigan recently opted to stay in Europe for competition by signing with Mousesports with Ozgur “woxic” Eker and David “frozen” Cernansky, instead of extending his contract with the Boys in Blue.
This new Envy roster will make its debut in the DreamHack Masters Dallas closed qualifier this weekend.
