The new esports comedy produced by Community’s Dan Harmon has debuted its first official trailer.
Starring Game Grumps personalities Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan and developed by YouTube stars Michele Morrow and Jesse Cox, Good Game is set to air on YouTube Red on Aug. 30. The show centers on the aspiring professionals as they ready for the biggest KILLCORE—that’s the in-game League of Legends—tournament of the year.

“This is going to the the greatest esports story ever told, and not just because stories about esports are inherently inaccessible and unappealing,” Avidan’s character says in the trailer.
YouTube Red requires viewers to subscribe to the service, which unlocks videos without ads, free music on Google Play, as well as original shows. It costs $10 a month. YouTube Red has had middling success, and took a big hit after YouTuber PewDiePie’s reality show was cancelled following an incident where the YouTuber showed anti-Semitic visuals on screen.
Video game content is plentiful on YouTube, and Good Game is certainly an attempt to capitalize on that. And it likely will, given the six-episode show’s high-profile involvement.
