Popular streaming entity and Fortnite player Turner “Tfue” Tenney revealed that he’s suffering from neck issues and may need to get surgery.
The FaZe Clan player is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. After the release of Fortnite, he came into the spotlight, showing his exceptional skill to thousands of viewers.
The Fortnite battle royale player has over five million followers on Twitch, just behind former Counter-Strike professional and Apex Legends player Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. In addition to his following on Twitch, the streamer has a huge fan base on YouTube. He boasts almost 10 million subscribers, releasing daily videos that frequently hit around two to three million viewers.
“Look at my fucking neck, dude,” Tfue said on stream before exposing the large foreboding lump. “I went to the doctors today and they didn’t really know what the fuck it is. He just assumed he knew what it is, and he put me on antibiotics so the whole thing goes away. If not, I have to go to like a specialist.”
“If this shit doesn’t go away, I’ll probably have to get surgery,” he said on another stream.
Tfue explained one possible explanation for the lump on his neck, but he wasn’t certain how it first appeared. He said that it could be because he’s been playing too much Fortnite without properly hydrating himself. But he wasn’t sure what caused the issue and seems worried. “Every morning before the streams, I literally wake up with like the worst headaches ever,” Tfue said.
The streamer didn’t mention if he’d be taking a break from streaming, but if he does inevitably have to go into surgery, it looks like he may be forced to cast Fortnite aside temporarily.
Tfue is scheduled to take part in the Fortnite World Cup event in April, where he’ll compete with teammate Dennis “Cloak” Lepore for $30 million.
