A new season is looming in Diablo 4 as season three is right around the corner—and we’re here to tell you exactly when it releases.
Diablo 4 seasons last for three months. The first season, the Season of the Malignant, was followed by the Season of Blood, and the third is coming soon. Dubbed the Season of the Construct, its main new addition is the Seneschal Companion, a mechanical ally who will assist you in combat and can be upgraded using Governing Stones and Tuning Stones acquired from the season’s new dungeons.
The wait for season three is not too long now, and we have already been told when the new content will drop.
When does Diablo 4 Season of the Construct release?
Season three kicks off immediately after season two wraps up on Jan. 23 at 12pm CT, as shown in-game via the battle pass menu and confirmed by Blizzard. Like the start of previous seasons, the end of season two will see any seasonal characters moved to the Eternal Realm, and you’ll need to make a new seasonal character to play season three—although you will retain Renown across zones, any unlocked Weapon and Armor Transmogs, and Mounts.
Season three is expected to last for three months, the same as previous seasons in Diablo 4, and should come to an end at some point in April 2024. The confirmed end date will likely be revealed by the in-game battle pass when season three begins.
Aside from new quests and a battle pass, season three will include some much-needed quality-of-life updates. Chief among them is the inclusion of WASD movement for keyboard and mouse players on PC and Helltide events remaining active at all times, except for a five-minute rest period every hour.
