MidOrFeed, the EU squad formed by International 6 grand finalist Omar “w33” Aliwi after Planet Odd’s dissolution, has officially disbanded after posting less than impressive results.

The team was originally composed of w33 himself as a support player, Peruvian hard carry Enzo “Timado” Gianoli Romanian midlaner Mihai “canceL^^” Antonio, German offlaner Maurice “KheZu” Guttmann, and w33’s former teammate Martin “Saksa” Sazdov.

On paper, this roster was supposed to be one of the strongest post-TI7 stacks in Europe. Prior to the implementation of the new ranked matchmaking system last week, canceL^^ had nearly 9,000 MMR to his name. Timado was an integral part of Peruvian team Infamous’ successful TI7 qualifier run, and is considered to be one of the best players from Peru right now.

KheZu’s time in Team Secret and his overall stability as an offlaner was another factor that contributed to their projected strength as a team, as was Saksa’s immense skill as a hard support player.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. The team struggled right out of the gate, with nary a qualifier win under their belts. Saksa left the team less than one month later, replaced by veteran captain Troels “syndereN” Nielsen. The team’s acquisition of syndereN failed to turn their misfortunes around, however.

For now, all five former members are now free agents. Timado and canceL^^ in particular will likely get offers from big name organizations looking to form Dota 2 squads in the near future. KheZu and w33 will also probably find it easy to find new places to call home. SyndereN, on the other hand, will quite possibly return to casting.
