EA FC 25 may be more than a week away from its worldwide launch, but it’s already causing players headaches. Early Web App adopters were left wondering if EA FC 25 servers were down and how to check the server status because they couldn’t log into the application.
Server instability is a known risk in any online game or application, and it’s not unheard of for servers to go down randomly and leave millions of players scratching their heads. You don’t usually see that as early as the release day of a web app, though. EA was having immediate troubles upon launching the EA FC 25 Web App, acknowledging feedback from users who couldn’t log in and committing to fixing the issue.

Are EA FC 25 servers down?
Let’s start where we left off—EA FC 25 servers are not currently down. There are no confirmed reports they ever were. However, EA was conducting maintenance on Madden NFL 25 servers on Sept. 18 and will do the same for EA Sports College Football 25 servers on Sept. 19, so there’s a theoretical possibility the EA Sports FC 25 servers could suffer collateral damage.

If you’re suspicious of your connection stability to the game, you can always check the EA FC 25 server status at EA Help’s designated hub. This hub is updated regularly and is the quickest and easiest way to confirm if there are server issues with any EA game or services like the EA app or EA Play.
Why can’t you log into the EA FC 25 Web App?
If you still can’t log into the EA FC 25 Web App, you will likely encounter the following error: “It looks like your EA account doesn’t have a Football Ultimate Team 25 Club.” What this means is that you haven’t fulfilled the requirements for using the Web and Companion apps, or your account has a low standing due to inactivity or poor behavior.
How to log into the EA FC 25 Web App
Make sure you check all the requirements below:
- You created a FUT club in EA FC 24 before Aug. 1, 2024.
- You have an existing EA FC 24 account.
- Your account has a good track record.
If you meet these criteria, you should be able to log into the Web App. If the problem persists, you may want to contact EA support or take the hit and wait for the start of EA FC 25 early access on Sept. 20, when you’ll be able to fix it by creating a FUT club in the new game.
