To play the EA FC 25 10-hour free trial, you need to first purchase an EA Play subscription, go to your console’s storefront or EA Play app, and download EA FC 25 for free.

If you’ve never done anything like this before or need a quick reminder on what to do, follow these steps to get access to the 10-hour free trial faster:

  1. Boot up the platform you want to play EA FC 25 on.
  2. Go to its store.
  3. Look through the subscription services offered until you find EA Play.
  4. Click on it and, almost immediately, there should be an option to purchase EA Play.
  5. You can buy EA Play 1 Month or EA Play 12 Month—with the first option being a lot cheaper.
  6. Purchase the best option for you, and once EA FC 25 is live in the store in your country, you can look for the game directly from EA Play.
  7. Click on EA FC 25 and press to download the title.
  8. Once it’s downloaded and fully installed, you can enjoy 10 hours of EA FC 25 for free as part of the subscription.

What can I do in EA FC 25’s free 10-hour trial?

There is no limit on the content you can access in EA FC 25—you get to play for 10 hours as if you own a full copy of the game.

Just to clarify, all modes are available, every feature is unlocked as if you owned the game, and there is no restriction on any content if you play using the trial. A big warning, though: The trial doesn’t constitute playing matches; you use up your trial by being on EA FC 25 in any capacity. This includes loading screens, the first secconds after booting up the game from your platform’s home menu, and having EA FC 25 on at all eats into your trial—so make every second count.

How should you spend your 10 hours in EA FC 25?

My recommendation for your 10-hour free trial is to either try out all of EA FC 25‘s different game modes—including Rush—to see if the new changes and content warrant a purchase, or if you know you’re already going to buy EA FC 25, make the most of this free time by sinking this valuable time into Ultimate Team early. By this, I mean hoarding a load of Coins fast and early, bossing opponents with amazing starter squads, and trying to pack the first Team of the Week In-Form cards.

The official release date for EA FC 25—for those who don’t get early access on Sept. 20 by pre-ordering—is Sept. 27.
