There’s a lot to look forward to with this year’s EA FC iteration, especially if you’re into exciting co-op battles. With FC 25, you and friends can team up for a new five-vs-five Rush mode that pits your team against a rival group in a “fast-paced small-sided gameplay” challenge. Besides this, the iconic 11-vs-11 Ultimate Team experience is getting some big updates since, including a tactical system overhaul with the FC IQ, new stadium and match experience, and more.

All of this sounds tempting until you realize EA FC 25‘s $70 price tag comes with; you’ll want to know if EA’s done a good job before forking out that kind of cash today.

EA isn’t offering any demo to FC 25; only early access if you purchase the title’s Ultimate edition. Free demos were a thing until FIFA 2020 (FIFA was rebranded to EA FC in 2023). For FIFA 2021, EA announced its decision to not offer a tryout experience, citing its development team’s focus on “delivering the best full game experience” over demo development. Since then, none of FC‘s iterations offered a demo. It’s the same for EA FC 25.

You can pre-order the Ultimate edition to get access seven days early. Then, FC 25 is slated for an official launch on Sept. 20. Whether you buy Standard or Premium, you could also use EA’s Great Game Guarantee policy to refund the new release if you need.

Outside these options though, there’s no demo-style test for EA FC 25.
