Mediatonic’s obstacle course-slash-game show-slash-battle royale hybrid game Fall Guys keeps things fresh with regular content updates in themed seasons.
These seasons, which arrive every two to four months, typically include many cosmetics, new obstacles, shows, and sometimes game modes. The battle royale-style title filled with mini-games was released in August 2020, and since then, there have been a handful of seasons with themes ranging from medieval to futuristic. Fall Guys has since gone free-to-play, allowing more players to join the fun.
Because Fall Guys is now free-to-play, there is a cost to those seeking premium rewards, and some currencies have also changed. But each pass features an accessible path of rewards as well.
With the launch of new season four, Creative Construction, Fall Guys shifted yet again from a seasonal pass to a fame pass. A fame pass is a shorter version of the season pass, with multiple sets to release during a single season. Each is meant to last between four to seven weeks.
