Over 10 years after its release, Final Fantasy XIV is still going strong. The latest expansion Endwalker broke records and more updates are still being added to the game ahead of Dawntrail.
The FFXIV developers are known for sharing a lot of information about their internal processes, the current state of advancement of patches, and more with players.
Letter from the Producer broadcasts are the main place for talking about feedback from recently-released content with fans and revealing updates on the next to come.
Usually, game director and producer Naoki Yoshida hosts the broadcast alongside producer Toshio Murouchi. They also sometimes, albeit rarely, translate the stream from Japanese to English when revealing major updates about the game, such as Dawntrail‘s launch trailer. Most of the time, however, only visual assets are translated.
Here is when the next Letter from the Producer will air on Twitch, Niconico, and YouTube.
When is the next FFXIV Letter from the Producer?
The next Live Letter from the Producer will be unlike the traditional ones since it will air in Boston during the PAX East event.
The next Live Letter from the Producer will be hosted on March 23 at 11am CT. Naoki Yoshida will take the stage to look back on the 10 years of FFXIV and the future with the next expansion. The conference is called “Journey to Dawntrail: The 10 Year Adventure.”
We’re around six months away from the next expansion, and a good part of its content is still shrouded in mystery. It appears to feature a lighter tone than Endwalker, which ended FFXIV’s first narrative arc. Essential details like its release date and available editions are still unknown —but it might change soon.
The conference is part of a three-day gaming convention. Meanwhile, FFXIV fans can discover the new content released with Patch 6.57 on Feb. 13.
