The team has a history of dominance, with SonicFox taking home the title of last year’s inaugural Injustice 2 Pro Series. All three players were ranked in the top 20 of last year’s competition based on the number of points they accumulated by participating in and placing at various tournaments.

The trio have also made waves at tournaments in 2018, with Scar placing in the top eight of a number of majors this year. The team managed to sweep Winter Brawl 12 in February, with SonicFox taking first, Theo finishing second, and Scar sliding in at third.

The players will look to improve upon their past showings at Community Effort Orlando in Daytona Beach, Florida, this weekend. There, the team will also debut its new partnership with SIMPLE Mobile.

“Partnering with Samsung and SIMPLE Mobile further solidifies Echo Fox’s position as a global force with the most elite [fighting game community] players that are continuing to dominate the Injustice 2 scene,” said Echo Fox president Jared Jeffries. “Heading into CEO, our team roster is proud to work with a sponsor that understands the fighting game community and can deliver the esports experience to a mainstream audience.”

The Injustice 2 Pro Series will conclude at the Worlds Finals in Chicago later this year.

With a brand-new partnership under its belt, Echo Fox’s Injustice 2 team will look to continue its dominance in the scene.
