Reputation in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a crucial resource, and knowing how to collect it faster in the game allows you to use it in various ways to enhance your experience in the world of Kian.
You can use Reputation points in Flintlock to buy outfits, upgrade weapons, or even unlock new game-changing abilities from your skill tree. But the game doesn’t clarify how to accumulate the points quickly, so we’ll break it down for you to help you progress through the game faster and unlock new abilities.
Here’s everything you need to know about Reputation in Flintlock.
How to gain Reputation fast in Flintlock
Here are the best ways to quickly farm Reputation in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn:
- Exploration: The most steady way of gaining constant reputation points in the game is by exploring new points of interest on the map and completing breaches using the breach barrel to reveal new areas. After a successful breach, you gain 800 Reputation points. After entering a new location, you get at least 300 Reputation points, a good source of points, especially in the early game.
This isn’t your only option, though. Kian is expansive, and there are skeletons tucked away in the corners of your adventures that drop Conscript’s Buttons, Plates, and Aglets which you can trade for varying levels of Reputation points. If you find many of these buttons, you can trade them instantly through your inventory and boost your Reputation economy.
- Sebo: If you haven’t brushed up your Sebo skills, you need to get good at it to beat your opponents and get Reputation points as your reward. There are no restrictions on how many matches you can play against Baz, so the sky’s the limit, and you can get rich playing against different NPCs. The only downside to this method is the time you’d have to invest to farm the reputation points.
- Combat: If you don’t like the easy way, here comes the high-risk-high-reward method. Combat is pretty versatile in Flintlock, where you can fight and defeat enemies to earn reputation points. Here’s the twist: Completing an axe attack, reloading your Musket perfectly, or even making a coordinated attack with Enki and several other things like using a Rift gives you a reputation multiplier.
The multiplier keeps going up, and at the end of the fight, you can cash in your Reputation with these multipliers to get massive Reputation points. The only downside to this multiplier is that you cannot take any damage, and if you do, the multiplier drops to zero, and you have to build it up again. So, if you’re quick on your reflexes, this is arguably the best and fastest way to earn reputation points in Flintlock.
