The ship has sailed on the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover event in Fortnite, which means there’s lots of pirate-themed chaos you can delve into. Part of this event includes the Pirates of the Caribbean NPCs you can meet around the map.
All of the characters in this event have special dialogue and some unique items available for purchase. You also sometimes need to interact with them for event quests, so it’s crucial to know all of the Pirates of the Caribbean Cursed Sails NPC locations in Fortnite.
All Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean NPC locations
There are four Pirates of the Caribbean NPCs you can find around the map in Fortnite. Each character hangs around a specific location and has a few different items available for purchase.

Jack Sparrow Fortnite location
Jack Sparrow is the only Pirates of the Caribbean NPC who isn’t at a specific POI and instead is found slightly southeast of the Grand Glacier area. You can find him walking along the coast near the ship floating around this area.
Although he won’t sell you a jar of dirt, you do have to locate and give him a jar of dirt—and Captain Jack Sparrow does have three other items for sale.
- One Prop Disguise for 50 gold bars.
- One Apple for 10 gold bars.
- One Buried Treasure for 300 gold bars.
Elizabeth Swann Fortnite location
Pirate King Elizabeth Swann can be found walking around the middle region of Pleasant Piazza. I usually find her near the staircase in the middle of this vast area but she does sometimes wander a bit away from it as she walks up and down this area.
When you interact with Elizabeth Swann, she responds with some unique dialogue and has three different items available for purchase.
- Two Shield Bubble Jr. for 100 gold bars.
- Three Crash Pad Jr. for 90 gold bars.
- One Buried Treasure for 300 gold bars.
Davy Jones Fortnite location
Considering Davy Jones is known for ferrying souls who perish at sea to the afterlife, it’s quite fitting that he can be found around The Underworld in Fortnite. He’s not around the main Underworld buildings as you might expect and instead can be found to the far west of this area near the very edge of the map.
If you’re willing to chat with this infamous and dangerous villain, you can purchase two different items from him.
- One Rift To Go for 250 gold bars.
- One Buried Treasure for 300 gold bars.
Captain Barbossa Fortnite location
You can find Captain Barbossa watching over the Black Pearl standing on the island near the west end of Shipwreck Shallows. He’s not on the ship floating in this area as you might expect and instead is only ever found walking around the small island near the pier.
If you talk with Captain Barbossa, you can buy three different items from him.
- Two Shockwave Grenades for 100 gold bars.
- One Apple for 10 gold bars.
- One Buried Treasure for 300 gold bars.
All four NPCs are Pirates of the Caribbean skins you can unlock and play as too. If you interact with any of the map NPCs as other characters from the film franchise, you get to hear some special dialogue options.
Knowing where to find all of these NPCs is crucial if you’re hoping to claim all Pirates of the Caribbean event pass rewards. It’s also especially important if you want to earn the grand prize in the event, which is the Jack’s Ship Glider.
