ESL announced the talent for the tournament earlier today. Fortnite Katowice, which starts tomorrow, is the first major event supported by Epic Games and will see all major regions compete for the first time. The partnership with ESL is the first step in bringing competitive Fornite to a global audience.

The list of broadcast talent includes Adam Savage, Mark “Onset” Hatcher, David “Zaccubus” Treacy, Arten “Ballatw” Esa, James “Stress” O’Leary, Martin “MartinCreek” Andersson, Marcos “SpeedyGonzales” Gonzalez, Jason Kaplan and Jakub “Lothar” Szygulski.

The action runs from Feb. 20 to 24, starting with the top 100 Polish players and influencers competing for a $100,000 prize pool.

The main event will run from March 1 to 3, with 100 international players going head-to-head for $500,000 in total prizes. All major gaming organizations will be represented, including Team Liquid whose players Jake “Poach” Brumleve, Ryan “Chap” Chaplo, Thomas “72hrs” Mulligan, and Noah “Vivid” Wright will be competing. Team Liquid’s players have been dominant in previous Fortnite tournaments, with all four players currently sitting within the top ten biggest earners.

There will also be some high-profile players competing in the tournament. Ghost Gaming’s Timothy “Bizzle” Miller, who recently won Fortnite Secret Skirmish, will be joined by Dylan “Dmo” Moore for the duo matches. Also looking to compete are Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, who secured first at the Fortnite Fall Skirmish.

ESL has yet to release all the information regarding the format, but with the best players from around the world taking part, ESL Katowice is sure to be a must-watch event.
