Apparently, today’s 5.1 update brought about a bug where the C4-like Remote Explosives were not causing damage to structures after damaging a player first.

The issue is bad enough that Epic Games decided to temporarily disable the item from being found within the game. The developer promised to update the community when more information was available.

Remote Explosives are incredibly strong items in the Fortnite meta currently. The explosives can be thrown and detonated manually, but they are hugely important when taking down large structures due to its blast radius. A few explosives can easily take down an entire building in no time at all.

We will also keep you updated on the Remote Explosives issue whenever Epic Games reveals more information.
