Fortnite on PS4 Pro will be getting some love from Epic Games in a future update—But only if you have a 4K TV to play it on.

Epic revealed the news in its State of Development blog post for Aug. 2018, along with a number of detailed stats about the game’s performance.

“For those of you playing Fortnite on a PS4 Pro, in the near future we’re adding support for greater than 1080p res when connected to a 4K TV,” Epic Games said. “Plan out that next drop with even more clarity!”

The wording is a little bit messy, because “greater than 1080p” doesn’t necessarily say 4K. But, the game will be slightly enhanced nonetheless, an improvement in some regard.

Fortnite’s dynamic resolution system lowers the game’s resolution to keep up with a steady framerate when there’s a ton of action on-screen. As it stands the resolution already fluctuates.

No date or timetable was given for the update for PS4 Pro owners, so for now, you’ll have to live with 1080p even if you splurged on a massive 4K TV for the family room that you can’t get 10 minutes in front of before the kids are mercifully asleep.
