Two new vehicle builds debut in the LEGO Fortnite’s Lost Isles update, letting you create a sturdy tank and take to the skies in an airship.
Like other vehicle builds, the airship and crusher tank are unlocked when you find and pick up a specific item that reveals the vehicle recipe and everything you need to make it. Like other vehicles, it also needs a Power Cell to function, so make sure to make a couple of those before attempting the build.
How to unlock the airship blueprint in LEGO Fortnite
The airship blueprint should unlock in LEGO Fortnite alongside other vehicle blueprints when you pick up a specific piece of wood or stone, but currently, some players are having difficulty finding the blueprint in their games due to an apparent bug.
Like NaNa Village, there appears to be a bug halting progression and not spawning several areas in the recent Lost Isles update, which is rightfully upsetting fans. The airship blueprint and many other new blueprints and missions aren’t currently unlocking or showing up for everyone, but some players have been able to find it in creative mode.
If we look at the airship, we can see a few items that give us an idea of what we need to find. There’s the steering wheel, some balloons, wheels, and other usual items. In theory, you could also change the base design to use it as a land vehicle if you turn the wheels out to the side instead of flat on the ground.
The total resources you need for the build are:
- 42 Wooden Rods
- 73 Granite
- 33 Wood
- 8 Torches
This makes it a pretty easy build to complete so long as you have the tools needed to expand it to suit your needs. This is a pretty basic airship, and players will likely craft their own unique and better ones as they get used to the mechanics. Still, for players looking for a quick-flying vehicle, the airship blueprint definitely fills that void.
