Fortnite is all about survival, as the storm circles force players to always keep moving to a smaller area or get eliminated. While you can’t usually know the future circles in the match, using the Forecast Towers allows you to have insight into the next circles, allowing you to make better strategies than your opponents. In the recent Diamond in the Raft story quests, you will need to locate one of these Forecast Towers on the map and use it to get to the next stage.

Here’s everything to know about finding and using the Forecast Tower in Fortnite

The Forecast Towers are usually on top of hills, and are tall towers with antennae and a small operating house next to it. There are five locations on the map where the Forecast Towers are located, but only two of these places are activated at a time in the match. After the third circle forms, you can open your minimap and spot the antennae highlighted on your map in blue.

Here are the five locations where you can potentially find a Forecast Tower in your next Fortnite match:

  • The hill which is located on the southern side of the Raft point of interest
  • South of Restored Reels point of interest, northeast of the Ship it! Station
  • West of Reckless Railways point of interest, near the Estate Station
  • East of Nitrodome point of interest
  • South of Reckless Railways, where the sand biome starts

We’d recommend you land near any of these Forecast Towers and continue looting until the third circle, and keep a close eye on the mini-map to find either of the two activated Forecast Towers. After that, make your way there with a vehicle and reach the place where there are two more chests for you to get even more loot.

As these locations are highlighted on the map, they’re usually crowded with players trying to gain the intel to the next safe zones, so make sure you’re on time at the place to increase your chances of using the Forecast Tower in Fortnite

How to use a Forecast Tower in Fortnite

To use Forecast Tower in Fortnite, you will need to look into your mini-map and locate the Lativian Grunts who are highlighted on the map using a black mask icon. You can only spot the icon if you move closer to the existing blue antenna marker on the map. Once you reach the area, you should spot the three Lativian Grunts who patrol the area.

There are usually three Lativian Grunts. The main enemy should be leading the other two enemy NPCs and move around in a set path. Once you hit your first shot, they all will become hostile and start shooting at you. Focus on eliminating the lead enemy, as he is the one who drops the Legendary key card and Epic tier loot while the other henchmen will just drop a normal weapon and some ammo.

After eliminating them, pick up the Legendary key card and keep it in your inventory. It takes one item slot, but when you equip it, it shows you the path to the highlighted small operating house. Go to that place and enter the house. After that, face the monitor and press E or your usual action key to submit the key card and secure access to future Storm Circles.

Now, you can simply open your mini-map and you should be able to see two storm circles which should help you plan your rotations better than other players and always place yourself strategically in gunfights. This is also helpful for the endgame where the next circles are moving, and you can easily avoid taking any storm damage and outshine your enemies.
