Fortnite’s long list of awesome skins is one of the best things about the game, but most are only available for a limited time. The Takara skin is a popular skin, and there are limited opportunities to get it, but we’ve got the details you need.
Daily shop rotations in Fortnite mean the items in the store aren’t there to stay, though a welcome update earlier this year tells you exactly how much longer items remain available. If you’ve been patiently waiting to get the Takara skin in Fortnite, now is your chance.
How to acquire Takara skin in Fortnite
The only way to add the Takara skin to your locker in Fortnite is to purchase it with V-Bucks. If you have V-Bucks to spend, there are two options to get the Takara skin.
The first is to purchase the Takara Bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks. Along with the skin, the bundle comes with the Gaze Back Bling, Shamisen Pickaxe, Engage Glider, and Converge Wrap. Alternatively, the Takara skin is available separately for 1,500 V-Bucks and includes the Gaze Back Bling.
The Takara skin is only available for a limited time, however, so act fast if you want it. The Takara skin will be removed from the item shop 6:59pm CT on Aug. 1 (00:59 BST Aug. 2). It’s unclear whether the Takara skin will return to the store in future.
Initially released in May 2021, the Takara skin has returned to the Fortnite store four times already in 2024. Prior to that, there was a three-year absence without the Takara skin appearing in the shop, which made it highly desired.
