Occasionally, though, Fortnite provides a free skin, and that’s exactly what’s happening with Katalina—so don’t miss out!
How to get Katalina skin in Fortnite
You can only earn the Katalina skin in Fortnite by playing on the official iOS and Android app. However, the app is not yet available worldwide and, as of the launch on Aug. 16, is only available to players in the EU.
If you’re in the EU and want to earn the Katalina skin and all the accompanying items, the process is easy. The only task is to earn XP in the Fortnite mobile app, so you can choose whatever mode you want. The full unlocks and challenges are below:
- Tactical Kat Wrap – Earn 25,000 XP
- Kat Claws Pickaxe – Earn 50,000 XP
- Katalina’s Kit Bag Back Bling – 75,000 XP
- Katalina Outfit – 100,000 XP
For those who do miss out, Katalina will not be an exclusive reward item. Instead, Katalina will be available to purchase in the store at a future date, which fits into Fortnite’s new approach regarding skins and cosmetics.
