Can you gift V-Bucks in Fortnite?
You can’t gift V-Bucks in Fortnite by directly transferring them to another player, but there are other ways to do it. Epic Games has made it clear it doesn’t want players to obtain the in-game currency via direct transfer to avoid scams.
How to gift V-Bucks to your Fortnite friends
To gift V-Bucks to your Fortnite friends may not be possible from one account to another, but you can do it by buying a real-life gift card that includes a certain amount of the Fortnite currency. These gift cards can be found at major retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, etc. The gift cards are marked with the same icon they have in Fortnite and how many V-Bucks each contains.

But this is the only way to gift another player with V-Bucks.
How to send a gift in Fortnite
To send a gift in Fortnite, you need to follow these steps:
- Open the Item Shop
- Choose the item you want to send as a gift
- Click on the Buy as a Gift option
- Select one or more recipients for the gift
- Confirm the purchase
While gifting V-Bucks isn’t possible, other forms of gifting are. Players can purchase a cosmetic as a gift from the Item Shop and send it to a person on their friend’s list. Players must be level two and have two-factor authentication enabled to get this to work, though. Players also have a limit of five gifts per day. However, keep in mind that cosmetics purchased with actual money and not V-Bucks cannot be gifted.
