A few nefarious villains are stirring up trouble around the island in Fortnite. One of these villains is Mysterio, and to get back at him for hypnotizing your friends for Doctor Doom, you need to graffiti the Central Statue in Doomstadt.

This can be a tough task to complete since it requires you to be very precise, and it’s in a highly populated area where many enemies are likely to try and fight you. It’s a key task to get done, though, if you want to progress through the main story, so here’s how to graffiti the Central Statue in Doomstadt in Fortnite.

To complete the graffiti the Central Statue in Doomstadt quest in Fortnite, you need to head to Doomstadt, locate the massive Doctor Doom Statue, and spray it with the special Hopeful Llama quest graffiti. You have to navigate through a few different steps to complete this process, so here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.

  • Visit Doomstadt. This is the area where Mysterio hangs out and can be found near the north edge of the map. It’s also right between Rebel’s Roost and Doom’s Courtyard.
  • Find the Central Statue. As the name hints, this is the statue right in the very center of Doomstadt right in the middle of the courtyard. Mysterio is usually wandering around right by it and it’s a massive stone statue of Doctor Doom you can’t miss once you reach this location.
  • Locate the graffiti spot. Stand right by the statue’s feet on the pedestal where you should see a small paint can icon and some sparkles highlighting the exact spot you need to graffiti.
  • Graffiti the Central Statue. Use the Hopeful Llama spray, which is the same paint you previously used to graffiti Doomstadt, on the sparkling spot to graffiti the entire statue. You’ll know it worked if the entire statue becomes covered in all kinds of different graffiti even though you only sprayed one small portion.

If the graffiti doesn’t work the first time, try it a few more times while aiming in different directions near the sparkling spot each time. This quest is a bit tricky because it requires immense precision and seems to not be complete until you spray exactly the right spot.

It also seems to be potentially bugged based on several players’ reports on Reddit. I had issues completing this task too and had to spray the statue three times before it finally worked. Just keep trying until the entire Doctor Doom statue becomes covered in graffiti or consider returning in the next match to see if the issue fixes itself as some players have said coming back in a later match resolved the issue.

Because the graffiti spot is right near where Mysterio hangs out, I recommend waiting to work on this quest until after Mysterio’s Medallion has been claimed. You can take him out yourself for his powerful loot or wait for another player to do so. Either way, waiting is best because you’re likely to be interrupted by enemies trying to fight him otherwise.

This is the final quest in The Illusionist story quest series, which means you can move on to other tasks once you finish it. Some other quests worth working through are surviving fire damage and searching containers at named locations before taking damage. You can also work on uncovering some secrets like becoming Doom’s Chosen, finding the secret Iron Man room, and completing Gwenpool’s mission
