Fans are always asking for new characters from different franchises to join the game, including the popular anime series Attack on Titan.

While it’s been requested for a while, new leaks have been pointing to the growing chance of an Attack on Titan collab in Fortnite.

When will Attack on Titan be coming to Fortnite?

Attack on Titan‘s Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman will be coming to the battle royale, starting on April 11. Epic Games confirmed this in an announcement early in the morning on April 6 with a short trailer showing the two characters using the swords and propulsion system that some expect to release as part of the update.

April 11 is also the next content update for the game, so it makes sense that all of the content as part of the event will be added that day. That’s how Epic previously did it with Dragon Ball, which led to an exciting period leading up to its release.

Attack on Titan Fortnite leaks

According to Fortnite data miners, they received word about Attack on Titan coming to the battle royale as part of Chapter Four, season two. The leaks state protagonist Eren Yeager will be showing up as the secret skin in the battle pass.

That’s not all either, as the leak also claims the Attack on Titan and Fortnite crossover will also include a Mythic similar to the propulsion system from the anime. These have yet to be confirmed, but the prospects for a crossover like this are exciting. Many players are eager for the next season to launch to see if this rumor is true.

A couple of Fortnite dataminers have previously claimed to have found some encrypted items that may be connected to Attack on Titan in April 2022. Two supposed skins going by the codename “Athena Commando M Rumble” and “Athena Commando F Rumble” were discovered by dataminer SinX6.

Athena Commando has been used as a codename for outfit skins in the past, and fans are hypothesizing “Rumble” is a reference to a cataclysmic event in Attack on Titan known as The Rumbling. If you’re not caught up on the show, we highly suggest not searching for The Rumbling, as it contains spoilers about the final season.

On top of that, both SinX6 and Shiina have found the new shop background for the items using the Rumble codename and are drawing comparisons to effects that appear in the original AOT opening theme. This is purely speculation, but a male and female skin would mostly like arrive in the form of main characters Eren and Mikasa.

It’s a reach but not something that can be completely ruled out. Attack on Titan has a massive fanbase, and its inclusion in Fortnite would be considered a major crossover.
