Another batch of free challenges for Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Halloween-themed event, Fortnitemares, is now available and ready to be completed.
Fortnitemares introduced Cube Monsters to the game and gave the in-game map a much more spooky feeling to help Fortnite players prepare for Halloween. But it also brought several sets of free challenges for players to work toward completing in the hopes of unlocking unique in-game items.
Part two of the Fortnitemares challenges was added to the game on Oct. 26, and now part three is available. If you complete all four of these tasks, you’ll unlock a Rare contrail called Virulent Flames.

The last set of Fortnitemares challenges tasked players with destroying 150 Cube Fiends, which are the weaker zombies. In part three, however, players will need to kill 25 Cube Brutes, which are the bigger zombies with more health. You’ll also need to shoot these creatures with explosive weapons for part three, instead of shotguns and SMGs like in part two.
The last two challenges aren’t very difficult, either—you’ll just need to play a few games to complete them. Searching seven chests in the Corrupted Areas is easy, as long as you’re the first player to land in these spots. And the progressive challenge initially asks you to travel to Wailing Woods five times. Stage two tasks you with visiting Fatal Fields once, while players need to go to Haunted Hills once to complete the third and final stage of this challenge.
You’ll want to complete these challenges as soon as possible if you hope to unlock the Virulent Flames contrail. The Fortnitemares part four challenges will be added to the game on Tuesday, Oct. 30—and if you complete those tasks, you’ll unlock an Epic glider called Dark Engine.
