TSM released Noah “Cowboy” Cmiel from its Fortnite team on Tuesday amidst allegations claiming the player sent inappropriate messages to a 16-year old female streamer.
Cowboy has denied the allegations.
TSM announced on Twitter earlier today that the player had been officially released and will no longer be affiliated with the organization. The organization did not give any further explanation for parting ways with the player.
But the decision came not long after popular Twitch streamer “Faith,” alleged that Cowboy sent inappropriate Twitter messages to a 16-year old streamer. On her live stream, Faith showed separate messages on her phone, allegedly from Cowboy, that said “looking good ;)” and one that included his discord tag.
The messages were not directed to Faith, who is 21, but to a different unnamed female streamer, who wished to remain anonymous.
The 27-year old Fortnite player has since deleted his Twitter and Discord following the allegations but left a message on his stream chat on Twitch regarding the situation.
“Hey guys. Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet. I am not married and i have hired a lawyer to clear my name i am not allowed to talk about anything but I am not a pedofile”
TSM first signed Cowboy to its Fortnite team alongside Maria “ChicaLive” Lopez and Karman “Kaysid” Sidhu in October.
