Ubisoft’s new shooter XDefiant is back in an Open Session beta ahead of its release this summer and following the end of a successful closed beta in April. The game now has a release window, so this is likely the final chance to try it out before launch.
For the Open Session, Twitch has enabled its viewers to get Twitch Drop rewards while watching streamers playing the game. Those rewards will unlock some unique items for players to use in the full game.
The Twitch drop rewards for XDefiant this time around include some purple cosmetics to fit the Twitch aesthetic. Here are all the XDefiant Twitch drop rewards you can get and how you do so.
What are the XDefiant Twitch drop rewards?
There are two XDefiant rewards dropping on Twitch for those watching streamers partnered with Ubisoft during the Open Session beta. Luckily, they’re quite easy to get and can be farmed without any effort whatsoever.

Here are the two new rewards being offered during the Open Session beta at the end of June:
M870 “Violet” weapon skin
- Available from June 20 at 12pm CT to June 23 at 1pm CT

How to claim XDefiant Twitch drops
To become eligible to receive XDefiant Twitch Drops, you need to link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account. Here are all the necessary steps to do that:
- Access Ubisoft’s website and click on “Get Started.”
- Click on “Login with Twitch.”
- A new window will pop up, and you’ll have to authorize Ubisoft to connect to your Twitch account.
- After you have authorized Ubisoft, all you have to do is choose a Ubisoft account you want to connect with Twitch and log in.
The list of Twitch streamers partnered with Ubisoft is extensive. You can check the full list here and watch the stream of your preference for a chance of getting XDefiant Twitch drop rewards.

But in reality, you don’t have to watch the stream at all. You can turn on one of the applicable streams above and go about your day. In two hours, you will have earned two weapon skins that can be equipped when the full game launches sometime later this summer.
