Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov of Faze Black has taken his practice seriously lately, but even he was surprised by a recent performance that makes your occasional double kill look like child’s play.
The Faze Black player dropped a stunning 30 plus kills on Hardpoint against Echo this week, but it’s what he did between kills eight and 29 that will make your head spin.
If you’re keeping track at home, that was 21 kills in a row.
With clutch jukes, a quick trigger, calculated aggression, and some occasional assistance, Zhelyazkov’s whirlwind of death was more than enough to lift his side to victory. The fact that he did it so casually, however, should put Optic Gaming fans on notice when the Season One playoffs commence in Columbus this weekend.
Personally, I don’t love playing Call of Duty. After years of hiding behind Master Chief’s shields, something about sprinting around a map with paper for body armor always left me feeling vulnerable. When you’re this good, however, paper body armor is all you really need.
