Ahead of Concord‘s release this August, developer Firewalk Studios is letting prospective players try out the hero shooter before they potentially buy. While one open beta weekend has already happened, there’s still one more on the way. Here’s how you can access the Concord open beta test.
How to play the Concord beta on PS5 and PC
The next Concord open beta weekend is taking place between July 18 and 21 and will be available to those on PS5 and PC.
If you have pre-ordered Concord, you immediately get access to the open beta, so make sure to check out our preload guide on how to download the game and jump in as soon as the beta starts.
If you haven’t pre-ordered Concord, don’t worry, you can still access the open beta. When it goes live, search for “Concord beta” in the PlayStation Store or Steam Store search bar, find the listing, and follow the instructions to download the beta.
There has already been an early access open beta between July 12 and 15, available only to PS Plus members and those who pre-ordered the game. This next test, however, will be available to everyone (though it’s likely you still need a PS Plus subscription to play on PS5) and, like the early access one, will support crossplay between PS5 and PC.
Remember, you need a PlayStation Network account to play on both PS5 and PC—a stipulation controversially introduced to Helldivers 2 after release.
The upcoming open beta includes several features that will be included in the full August release, including all 16 playable Freegunners, five maps, and four modes.
