If you want to play MultiVersus, you’ve likely picked your platform of choice, but what if you have two or more platforms you play on? Can you play against other players on different platforms and use different devices with one account? That’s what I’m here to tell you.

Here’s everything we know about MultiVersus crossplay and cross-platform.

MultiVersus supports crossplay and cross-platform. Whether you are playing on PC, Xbox (Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X), or PlayStation (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5), you can play against players from other platforms (as long as you have this option enabled). You can turn off crossplay and only play with other players on the same platform ecosystem if you prefer. Unfortunately, it seems like Nintendo Switch users will have to sit this one out, but other than that, everyone gets to play everyone.

Does MultiVersus support cross-progression?

Yes, MultiVersus supports cross-progression. As long as you use the same MultiVersus account on each of your gaming devices, you can freely switch between playing MultiVersus on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

So even if you have a PC in your office, a PS5 in your Living Room, and an Xbox Series X in your bedroom, you can use all those devices to play and progress with the same account. The best thing about it is you don’t need to buy a battle [ass on each platform because it’s tied to your account, not the console.

You can link your MultiVersus account to one PSN, one Xbox, one Steam, and one Epic Games Store account, and they will stay permanently linked, so if you have multiple accounts on a single platform, make sure you select the one you want to play on.
