Another battle royale game is entering the esports scene with a brand-new tournament series.
YouTuber Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem posted a vague tweet earlier today that implies that he plans to host weekly $100,000 Realm Royale tournaments starting next Saturday, July 14.

But that’s it—we don’t know anything else about KEEMSTAR’s Saturday $100,000 Realm Royale tournament other than the prize pool, date, and start time (3pm CT) of the inaugural event.
KEEMSTAR is also responsible for the weekly Friday Fortnite tournaments, alongside tournament organizer UMG. The ninth installment of Friday Fortnite began today with a $20,000 prize pool.

Even though the Friday Fortnite tournaments have been extremely successful so far, KEEMSTAR’s new Realm Royale event is set to have a much larger prize pool. It’s also unknown if UMG or another tournament organizer will be involved with KEEMSTAR’s Realm Royale events.
Realm Royale is another free-to-play battle royale third-person shooter game. Developer Hi-Rez Studios’ title includes unique, class-based gameplay that can be compared to other massively-multiplayer online games thanks to its fantasy theme, armor, and weapons.

Although not a lot of information is known about KEEMSTAR’s weekly $100,000 Realm Royale tournament, most of the best players in the game will be enticed to compete due to the advertised prize pool.
Update July 9 3:05pm CT: KEEMSTAR revealed the ruleset for the $100,000 Realm Royale tournament series earlier today.
Duos will try to get the lowest score possible after 10 rounds of competition.
