Over the weekend, the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship wrapped up in Katowice, Poland. In the League of Legends portion, Korean side KT Bullets beat Europeans Fnatic and took home the $60,000 prize. That’s the obvious storyline.

Crunching the numbers, we found some story threads you may have missed.

Millenium, for instance, had both the shortest game record—against KT Bullets at 22:28—and the longest game record, against Fnatic, clocking in at 1:11:36.

Then there’s the semifinal match between Fnatic and Cloud 9. Fnatic took the series. But that’s despite the fact that, over the course of the weekend, Cloud 9 had over 100 gold-per-minute income greater than their European rivals.

Perhaps most surprising is how close each team was.

Every region finished with over 2.0 KDA and more than 1,500 GPM. Even the Chinese teams did well, despite a 20 percent win rate.
