The first original IP to emerge from Bethesda in over 20 years, Starfield has had a high bar set by its siblings like Skyrim and Fallout 4, but the developers are confident this title will be bigger and better.

Those declarations have only raised excitement further and, following the disappointment of Redfall, Xbox is under pressure to see one of their exclusives finally hit it out of the park to make a statement to their PlayStation rivals.

If you’re bubbling with excitement, settle down, as we’ve got all the release info for Starfield here.

When does Starfield release?

Originally due to release in November 2022, Starfield was then pushed back to the first half of the 2023 release window before being pushed back again, this time to its permanent slot.

Starfield is launching on Xbox and PC on Sept. 6, while purchasing one of the game’s special editions will provide up to five days of Early Acess from Sept. 1.
