But one of the most mysterious characters that caught many’s attention was officer Clorinde. According to the leaks, she is expected to be a five-star, limited character who uses the element of Electro.
Clorinde’s weapon type and abilities in Genshin Impact
Clorinde is Fontaine’s greatest duelist and a force to be reckoned with. She’s a champion and pride of the nation of Hydro, and to achieve her goals and fulfill her missions, Clorinde uses a sword. Every refined swordsman needs a set of skills to wield their weapon. Here is a detailed look at Clorinde’s kit:
- Basic attack: Performs five rapid strikes that deal physical damage.
- Elemental Skill: Clorinde infuses her attacks with Electro and enters a “Night Patrol” state for nine seconds. Basic attacks switch to gunlance shooting, “Rapid hunt”, which deals damage and heals Clorinde based on the Bond of Life mechanic. It fires ammunition that pierces through enemies in its path and allows Clorinde to perform a dash strike. Cooldown: 16 seconds.
- Elemental Burst: The cooldown of her Burst is 15, and it costs 60 energy. Based on 120 percent of Clorinde’s maximum health, it grants the Bond of Life mechanic that deals damage.
- First Talent: When characters nearby in the team trigger an Electro-related reaction, it increases the damage of Clorinde’s basic attacks and her Burst by 17 percent. This lasts for 15 seconds and stacks up to three times.
- Second Talent: If Clorinde’s Bond of Life is equal to or higher than 100 percent of her maximum health, whenever her Bond of Life increases or decreases her critical rate increases by 10 percent. Additionally, this enhances her skill, and it lasts for 15 seconds.
- Third Talent: Displays the location of nearby resources unique to Fontaine on the mini-map.
It seems that Clorinde will be an Electro main damage dealer with a similar playstyle to Arlecchino. She will shine the most with the Bond of Life mechanic, which offers a lot of options for flexible team building.
Clorinde constellations in Genshin Impact

- C1: During the “Night Patrol” state, when Clorinde’s basic attacks hit, it summons “Shadows of the Night Patrol” near the enemy to perform two cooperative attacks. This has a 30 percent attack multiplier and is considered basic attack damage.
- C2: Based on her first Talent, the damage is increased from 17 to 24 percent and Clorinde’s disruption resistance is increased as well.
- C3: Increases the level of Elemental Skill by three points.
- C4: When Clorinde’s Burst deals damage based on her current Bond of Life, it increases the damage by two percent up to a maximum of 200 percent.
- C5: Increases the level of Burst by three points.
- C6: Within 12 seconds after using her Skill, Clorinde’s Critical Rate and Damage increase by 70 percent. Additionally, during “Night Patrol,” Clorinde’s damage taken is reduced by 80 percent and disruption resistance is increased.
While most of the Constellations only increase her raw damage, the first Constellation is definitely the best option as it changes Clorinde’s playstyle, making it faster and more fun to play.

Clorinde is set to be released with version 4.7 of Genshin Impact. She was officially announced on Genshin’s Twitter as her splash art was posted. It is estimated that version 4.7 will be released on June 5, but we don’t know in which phase Clorinde will make her debut.
