Get leveled up.

There’s no shortage of available battle passes to grind in Halo Infinite. Since the game’s release in mid-November 2021, players have been granted two full seasonal passes, plus a handful of smaller event passes.

The seasonal passes each feature 100 levels of rewards, with a free-to-play track and a premium track available. The event passes have ranged from 10 to 30 levels of rewards but have been given away for free to all users. Additionally, players can still level up the season one pass even though season two is live, with players given the ability to switch between which pass they actively want to earn progress toward.

Here’s how you can quickly level up the battle pass in Halo Infinite.

Complete daily and weekly challenges

This is the foundational method of acquiring the experience needed to level up the battle pass. Playing matches on their own doesn’t reward experience, only completing challenges does. 343 added a recurring basic challenge that does reward you with some experience for playing any match, but if you take into account the other active challenges, you’ll progress very slowly.

You can also view some of the future weekly challenges as well, from the Challenges tab on the battle pass page. The challenges will task you with getting kills with certain weapons, playing certain playlists, winning in certain playlists, and more.

Use XP boosts and Challenge Swaps wisely

Halo Infinite players can earn Challenge Swaps and XP boosts from the battle pass if they purchased the premium version.

Players can use XP boosts or grants to earn extra experience points or receive a flat amount of points at one time. A boost will double the amount of experience you receive from challenges for an hour, so spend them if you’re planning to play for a lengthy session, or if you’ve stockpiled a lot.

If you see challenges that look to be or are actively proving to be difficult to complete, consider using a Challenge Swap to replace them.
