YouTuber “Ryo” revealed the newest card from the upcoming Hearthstone expansion, The Witchwood, on her channel earlier today. Forest Guide benefits both players with its card text.
Forest Guide is a four-mana minion with a 1/6 body. The card text allows both players to draw a card at the end of your turn. The mechanic of both players benefiting from your card isn’t uncommon in Druid, however. The card allows you to increase your hand size while having a high-health minion on board.
Unfortunately, your opponent gets an extra card draw going into their turn, which means Forest Guide provides more of an immediate gain for them. This card may be used in Ramp or Mill Druid in order to exhaust your opponent of resources, but it won’t see widespread play.
