This time a new minion has been added to the Paladin arsenal, and it may bring back a deck type that was previously popular for the class.

Bellringer Sentry is a four-mana minion with a 3/4 body. The card has both a Battlecry and Deathrattle that will put a Secret from your deck into the battlefield. Though a 3/4 body isn’t the best for a four drop it isn’t terrible, and a minion with four health can be difficult to take down sometimes.

The Battlecry and Deathrattle can be powerful if you are running a Secret-themed deck. The last time Secret Paladin was popular was when Mysterious Challenger was the biggest menace in the meta. Though Bellringer Sentry isn’t at the same power level as Mysterious Challenger, it could still signal a revival for Secret Paladin.

There will need to be some more cards revealed that support such a Secret Paladin-style deck. Bellringer Sentry may be run in decks that aren’t even Secret focused in order to pull one or two strong Secrets into the battlefield if players deem it strong enough.

Ahead of The Witchwood’s release in April, you can pre-order a package that includes 70 total packs and a special card back for $49.99.
