The Spellstones are one of the new mechanics being added to Hearthstone with the next expansion.
Like the legendary weapons, there’s one per class.The Warrior Spellstone was revealed today on the Blizzard livestream.
The Spellstone starts off summoning one 5/5 Golem for seven mana. That’s pretty terrible. You’re going to feel really pretty bad if you have to play that by itself.
However, upgrading it even once is pretty sweet. That’s 3.5 mana for a 5/5. If you can get it to the Greater Mithrill Spellstone, this is an insane swing.

The new expansion, Kobolds and Catacombs, will release sometime in December. A concrete release date has not yet been announced.
