SK Telecom T1’s bot lane carry Bae “Bang” Jun-sik and Cloud9’s Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi were both voted into the 2018 League of Legends All-Star event. And if you’re a fan of either, you probably have more reason to be excited than usual.
Shortly before the vote results went live, Bang promised his fans that he’d try to do a joint cosplay with Sneaky if the two made it to All-Stars. Well, it’s time to buy your tickets, because Bang confirmed that this is actually happening in a video today.
“Thankfully, Sneaky contacted me before his match,” Bang said in the video translated by Korean esports site Inven. “The cosplay is confirmed. What we will cosplay will be revealed afterward.”
Bang is remaining vague on what exactly they’ll be cosplaying as, but if he holds true to his original promise, it should be Xayah and Rakan. Obviously, no matter who they dressed up as would probably be just as cool, but Sneaky sounds like he’s pretty excited to be Xayah.
Sneaky started a somewhat recent career out of cosplaying. He still plays in the LCS, and in fact was just knocked out of Worlds in the semifinals last week. But his over 750 patrons on Patreon indicate that the cosplaying project is going very well, too.
The All-Star event begins Dec. 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
