The first international League of Legends tournament of the year is officially underway, with professional action already heating up in Chengdu.

The 2024 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2024) will be captivating League esports fans across nearly all of May, with the event running from May 1 to 19, featuring a schedule packed with some of the world’s best teams.

MSI 2024 will be broken down into two parts: The play-in stage and the main event bracket stage. The play-in stage included several surprising faces this year, notably Faker and defending world champions T1. The play-in stage fed into the main event, where squads are now battling it out for the international trophy.

May 7 to 12: Bracket stage, round one

  • May 7 (4am CT): Top Esports 3-0 Team Liquid
    • Top Esports proceeds to upper bracket semifinals, Liquid falls to lower bracket.
  • May 8 (4am CT): Gen.G 3-0 Fnatic
    • Gen.G proceeds to upper bracket semifinals, Fnatic falls to lower bracket.
  • May 9 (4am CT): Bilibili Gaming 3-2 PSG Talon
    • Bilibili Gaming proceeds to upper bracket semifinals, PSG Talon falls to lower bracket.
  • May 10 (4am CT): T1 3-2 G2 Esports
    • T1 proceeds to upper bracket semifinals, G2 falls to lower bracket.
  • May 11 (4am CT): Fnatic 1-3 Team Liquid
    • Fnatic is eliminated.
  • May 12 (4am CT): G2 3-0 PSG Talon
    • PSG Talon is eliminated.

May 11 to 15: Bracket stage, round two

  • May 11 (11pm CT): Gen.G 3-2 Top Esports
    • Gen.G proceeds to upper bracket final, Top Esports falls to lower bracket.
  • May 12 (11pm CT): T1 1-3 Bilibili Gaming
    • Bilibili Gaming proceeds to upper bracket final, T1 falls to lower bracket.
  • May 14 (4am CT): G2 Esports 3-0 Top Esports
    • Top Esports is eliminated.
  • May 15 (4am CT): T1 3-1 Team Liquid
    • Team Liquid is eliminated.

May 17: Bracket stage, round three

  • May 17 (4am CT): T1 3-0 G2 Esports
    • G2 Esports is eliminated.

May 16 to 18: Bracket stage, round four

  • May 16 (4am CT): Gen.G 3-1 Bilibili Gaming
    • Winners bracket final. Gen.G proceeds to the grand final, Bilibili falls to qualifying final.
  • May 18 (4am CT): Bilibili Gaming 3-2 T1
    • Qualifying final. Bilibili proceeds to grand final, T1 is eliminated.

Sunday, May 19: Finals

  • May 19 (4am CT): Gen.G 3-1 Bilibili Gaming
    • Gen.G are the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational winners.
