But will it be enough?

The League of Legends bot lane is in serious need of repair. It’s been overrun by bursty, early game champions and mages, leaving no room for the traditional late-game ADCs.

Fortunately, Riot seems aware of this problem and is rolling out buffs to several marksmen in Patch 9.1 this week, according to the official patch notes. Unfortunately, no play-making support buffs are coming, which means mages might stick around, but at least the marksman situation should improve, even if only by a little bit.

Also included in the list of buffs are runes, which should all have a significant impact on the bot lane meta when combined. Here is the total list of changes, ranked in order of importance.

1) Sivir

Boomerang Blade (Q) no longer drops damage per enemy champion hit.

2) Vayne

During Final Hour, the cooldown of Tumble is now halved.

3) Rune stats

Attack speed rune shard increased from nine percent to 10.

4) Hail of Blades

Now gives 110 percent attack speed at all levels, rather than 75 to 125 depending on level. Attack resets (like Jax’s W) no longer consume a stack.

5) Xayah

Root duration from Bladecaller slightly increased.

6) Ashe

Spotting unseen enemies with E now provides Ashe with assists if they die within 10 seconds of being spotted.

7) Jinx

Zap! now slightly scales with attack speed.

8) Shield Bash

Damage increased at all levels. Only relevant to ADCs with enchanter supports.
