The latest LoLdle quote was fairly short and to the point. Since there were only four words to work with, I ended up relying on the audio clue to figure out which League of Legends champion said this voice line.
While this line is definitely vague by nature (and could apply to multiple champions on the League roster), deep thinkers who use the context clues provided by each individual word in the clue could get it on earlier tries.

The LoLdle quote for May 28 is “Your soul drowns. Fight.” The League champion who says this quote is Illaoi.
When I first read the quote, “soul” stuck out to me the most and I immediately started thinking about Shadow Isles champs like Thresh and Viego. In hindsight, if I focused on “drowns” over “soul,” I might’ve been able to guess Illaoi sooner. Illaoi is probably the only champion in the game who combines elements of drowning with soul motifs as she quite literally rips the soul out of you with her Test of Spirit (E). In fact, Illaoi actually says this line whenever she successfully lands her E on an enemy champion and turns them into a Soul Vessel.
Looking back on this quote, each of the words used in this voice line makes it pretty obvious that Illaoi would be a worthy guess. Even the “fight” part of the quote could be used as a potential context clue as Illaoi is all about testing the worthiness of souls through combat. Still, if you were tripped up and guessed multiple champions that deal with souls, you weren’t too far off.
After guessing a few more champs I thought were soul-related, I got to the audio clue, which immediately gave me the answer to today’s LoLdle. As soon as I heard the voice utter this quote, I knew it was Illaoi speaking. Even though I haven’t played much Illaoi over the years, her voice was still unmistakable to me. No other champion in the game has her accent, so even if you have some slight experience playing as or against Illaoi, you should recognize her voice if you make it to the audio clue.
Today’s LoLdle quote was much shorter than yesterday’s, and the voice lines with fewer words can be trickier if you latch on to the wrong phrase. But this time around, if all else fails, the audio clue should give you a guaranteed correct guess on the next answer.
