Yusui rejects LMQ offer, Stixxay next in line

Less than a week after the Daily Dot reported that LMQ had made an offer to LoLPro mid-laner David “Yusui” Bloomqvist to take over as their AD carry, it seems that the deal won’t be going ahead after all.

The move had always been subject to an agreement between the two organizations, and now a source close to the player says Bloomqvist wasn’t happy with the move and has plans of his own.

“The deal is dead and it’s mainly because David doesn’t enjoy AD carry like he does mid and he thinks the skill ceiling for a mid-laner is way higher,” the source said. “He is now likely to focus on rebuilding a team that he is at the centre of in a bid to qualify for LCS in the Summer.”

This left LMQ again looking for a new AD carry, but they haven’t wasted a lot of time in replacing Bloomqvist. Following the NA LCS Expansion tournament, team representatives were seen with Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes of Denial eSports at the after-party. Several attendants confirmed that he was “being introduced” as their AD carry for the next season.

If that move is agreed with all parties, then that will leave LMQ with just their top lane to fill ahead of the next LCS split.
