Marvel and NetEase’s new six-vs-six hero-shooter, Marvel Rivals, takes inspiration from Overwatch, but with a huge difference. In Marvel Rivals, you take control of heroes and villains from the Marvel universe and battle it out.

The official Marvel Rivals trailer got people excited, but the closed alpha and closed beta opened the gate for players to get a taste of the action. New characters are expected to be regular additions to Marvel Rivals, expanding the roster over the course of time. In this article, we’ve compiled all confirmed Marvel Rivals characters along with some big rumors.

Twenty-three characters are confirmed for Marvel Rivals. Nineteen of them were playable during the closed alpha test, with the two newest heroes, Venom and Warlock, being announced during the PlayStation State of Play.

At San Diego Comic Con, Thor and Jeff the Land Shark were announced as new additions to the roster.

The roster in Marvel Heroes will expand periodically and, thanks to datamines, we’ve already got an idea of who will be added next. According to the files, there are 18 additional heroes are on the cards for the future, with more to follow.
