Fall has already arrived on Lost Ark with the Arktoberfest event, and there is more to come. The latest update, introduced on Sept. 28 following four-hour maintenance, will add a new Advanced class: the Machinist, “ready to blast, burn, and neutralize any threat with surgical precision.” It’s fittingly called “Rage with the Machinist.”
The update also brings a new Legion raid, more progression events to farm honing materials, general updates, and bug fixes. In addition, the server merge is taking place at the same time but will take more time (approximated at 16 hours). Another one will be introduced in a few weeks.

New advanced class: Machinist
The Machinist is the new Gunner Advanced Class to join the roster in Lost Ark. It uses high-tech tools to fight and a Hypersync ability they charge up to land more powerful attacks on the opponents. Here is a blog post where the developer details the class’ skills, mechanics, engravings, and more.
New Legion raid: Kakul-Saydon
The third Legion raid is entering the game, called Kakul-Saydon. It’s the scariest clown you’ll see ahead of Halloween because the fight will be challenging. Revives won’t be possible in the middle of the fight, which means teammates won’t have the slightest margin for mistakes.
The fight will be available for players with gear of an average item level of 1,475 in Normal mode. But this time, players will be able to enter a rehearsal level to train and will only need an item level of 1,385. The Rehearsal mode, as well as the Normal one, will have a weekly lockout (one per character). Special training is also being added to apprehend the game’s main mechanics.
The players can trade their rewards in the form of Mayhem Marks and Mayhem Trumpets. Those tokens can be traded by speaking to the Legion raid Exchange NPC, but they’ll have a weekly and roster limit. A new Set Gear Management NPC is also being added in all of Lost Ark‘s major cities.
New events
- Free Punika Powerpass
- Players who want to create a Machinist can use a Free Powerpass. It can be used for other classes, too.
- The Powerpass will be sent after completing the regional quest called “Berver’s Friend” in Nia Village, which can be begun by completing all Adventure Quests (purple ones) in Punika, collecting all stamps.
- Upon use, the character will earn item level 1,302 gear.
- The free Punika powerpass will expire on Oct. 26, so don’t forget to use it before that date.
- Special Event Missions
- One character per roster can be designed to participate in Special Event Missions. They are available for item levels 1,302 to 1,415.
- The Missions can be completed until Nov.23 to earn bonus honing materials and gear up quickly.

Bug fixes
- Background audio now has sound in all cutscenes.
- Unintended text doesn’t appear anymore in the Achievements tab from non-English games.
- Color options now correctly appear in the settings tab for the Attack Direction Indicator.
- Identity tooltip function now works correctly while using certain class.
- HTML formatted text to be sent via group chat notices can no longer be sent.
- Cutscenes can no longer be skipped when completing certain Anikka’s quests in party.
- Pheromone Bomb now lasts 30 seconds even when used on Night Fox Yoho before it becomes invincible.
- Virtual keyboard no longer shown when changing tabs in menus and using a controller.
- Correct weekly reset time now correctly shown in Stronghold Activity Notebook.
- Sever effects given by the “Strange Movement” Tripod for the Destroyer’s “Earth Smasher” skill now correctly applied as intended.
- Guild chat messages now always appear correctly.
- Chat tab settings no longer reset anymore.
- Certain texts no longer reversed on one side of the Wingsuit Bike mounts.
