Free Fire has a diverse set of guns available, and for a player to feel superior to his opponents, they have to know the difference between them. Garena’s battle royale has nine sets of weapons: launchers, LMGs, SMGs, ARs, pistols, SGs, SRs, melees, and the crossbow.
Many of them can be found around the loot regions of Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari maps, but some are only available in airdrops. For good loot, players must search for regions with buildings and industrial zones. Players should always focus on having at least one gun for short-range and another for mid and long-range, getting more weapons that accept attachables, and choosing guns that fit your gameplay style.

Pistols
The pistols are good choices to start the game, while players don’t find better guns. The Desert Eagle has a high damage rate and big recoil, being one of the best pistols in the game. The M1873 is popular because of its strength, but its short range makes it hard to use since players don’t have any armor at this point. Lastly, the M500 is recommended for executing players from a long distance because of its 2x scope and high range.
Short-range combat
For the rush strategy and short-range combat, the MP40 is one of the most-used weapons of its class because of its high rate of fire and damage, but it does come with a high recoil and low stability. The Vector Akimbo can be held in dual wielding, one in each hand. They will kill your enemies instantly but offer low stability and ammo can run out very fast.
For a lethal damage choice, pick the M1014. It is an easy gun to find and offers a decent of fire for short-range combat.
Mid and long-range combat
For mid and long-range gameplay, rifles are one of the best options. The GROZA could be considered one of the best weapons in the game, rifle power, SMG stability and can receive many attachables. The M60 is another very strong gun with a large ammo capacity, making it a very good option to just shoot around enemies with no worries.
One gun that stands out from the others is the M1887, which can kill enemies with barely two shots. It has a higher range than the rest and very high damage rate, but be careful to make every shot count. The FAMAS is one of the most known weapons in shooting games, becoming one of the deadliest guns if attached with the foregrip. It bursts three bullets at a time, offering good accuracy and damage for beginners.
Long distance
For players that are into long distance headshots, the AWM is one of the best snipers in the game. The weapon has high damage, range and accuracy, but it will take some time to reload. Also, its ammunition is one of the hardest to find in the game. Another good option is the M4A1, which has balanced statistics and offers great stability, being a great choice for beginners who just want to have fun. Finally, the Gatling has high accuracy and magazine capacity of 1,200 bullets, but it will affect the player’s mobility in the game.
Choosing the right gun for every different situation in the battle royale is the key for a Booyah. Good knowledge of all weapons and most important regions of each map is what makes a player stand out from its opponents and level up quickly in the game.
