Krafton has teased a new map coming to New State Mobile in its next update. The game will likely be getting a new TDM map in the upcoming May update.
Not much about the map has been revealed yet. Based on the teaser, it looks like the map will have a terrain similar to Erangel with rocks scattered around to provide cover to players. Being a TDM map, it will likely have a congruent layout.
The TDM was first introduced into New State Mobile with patch 0.9.24, which was released last February. Now, it seems that the mode will be available on one more map. So far, Krafton hasn’t revealed any other details of the May update. Just like in past months, a patch preview will likely be released soon on New State Mobile’s YouTube channel.
Krafton releases a new update for New State Mobile every month. The last update (patch 0.9.30) introduced the Erangel Extreme BR mode, which features 48 players competing in 15-minute battle royale matches. It offers increased loot for a faster-paced and exciting experience for players.
The update also introduced the MCX assault rifle into New State Mobile besides many other quality of life improvements and balance changes. The weapon uses 5.56mm ammunition and has a high rate of fire.
